Five days at Mandalay Bay, with a day at the Cosmo
Where we stayed, when we moved around, and how we kept a 2-year-old happy in July heat.
I’m still writing this one. I’ll fill it in after the July trip. The rough outline:
Why Mandalay Bay
Mostly the pool. The lazy river and wave pool keep a kid busy for hours, and being at the south end means less time pushing a stroller through crowds.
How the days went
Out early, back inside by late morning, nap and quiet time through the hottest part of the afternoon, then out again once it cooled off.
Getting around without going outside
You can reach Luxor and Excalibur from Mandalay Bay on the tram and indoor walkways without stepping into the sun. We used that a lot.
